September 14 - The "Save The Tavern" and the plight of The Old Tavern received recognition in the News-Herald today, September 14, 2012. Our effort continues to grow and we appreciate the opportunity to share our mission with the community. We would like to point out that Mr. Rickard was supportive of our "This Place Matters" campaign last year, as we participated with the National Trust for Historic Places. We continue to make efforts to work with him and his staff to improve the condition of the Old Tavern. It is in everyone's best interest to come together to work behalf of this important historic landmark.
